Therapy for Teens and Adults
Clinical Focus: Brenda has a special interest in working with those experiencing anxiety, relationship stress and trauma, including those who have experienced intimate partner violence.
Hi,
I’m Brenda and I am a bilingual (Spanish), bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over ten years of clinical experience working as an agent of support and guidance.
My belief is that a difference in ability is simply unrecognized strength. My style is warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental, and I approach our work collaboratively, by identifying your goals and strengths while also considering how your environment has shaped you into who you are.
I enjoy working with adults, children, emerging adults, and college students regarding relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. I have extensive training and am certified in working with survivors of intimate partner violence. I also enjoy working with clients who are managing grief and loss, undergoing life transitions, or struggling with chronic illness and depression.
If you are interested in finding out what therapy can do for you, please contact me and I’ll be happy to partner with you on your way to a better life!
I am in-network with all BCBS PPO plans (including ACA plans), United Healthcare/Optum, and Cigna/Evernorth.
Brenda has current availbility for both in-person and virtual sessions.
