What We Do
Individualized Treatment
Psychodynamic therapy is a a form of talk therapy that is aimed at helping you learn to recognize patterns in behavior and relationships in order to gain more self-awareness and ultimately experience more satisfaction in your life. As we grow, we develop approaches to responding to our problems, and when these approaches don’t seem to be working so well anymore we may get anxious, sad, or confused. In therapy, we work together to understand your unique history and how that has informed your experience as well as to bring your thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns into conscious awareness. With this new understanding and perspective, you can learn to spot the patterns that aren’t working so well and develop new, better ways to address your problems.

Regular in-person sessions are preferred for psychodynamic therapy, but at times we may need to meet via telehealth to maintain consistency.
